Hey everyone! Chris here from El Patron, checking in with a wrap-up report for today’s trip. We fished Catalina Island and had a fantastic day on the water! We ended the trip with:

- 2 Yellowtail
- 23 Barracuda
- 47 Calico Bass
- 4 Sheephead
- 16 Bonito
- 2 Sandbass

Friday’s trip has plenty of room and is a definite go to Catalina Island!

For those interested in tackle recommendations for these trips, I suggest bringing a size 1 hook for the anchovies, a size 4/0 Aki twist hook, and an assortment of sliding egg sinkers (1/8, 1/4, and 3/4 ounce). It’s also a good idea to have 8 to 10-ounce torpedo sinkers on hand in case we decide to go rock fishing to fill the bags.

Don’t forget to bring a 20 or 30-pound rod that you can easily cast. If you don’t have one, we have them for sale on the boat!
